HEAŞ Academy

As a subsidiary of the Presidency of Defence Industries, HEAŞ shapes the aviation sector through the HEAŞ Academy it has established with 25 years of experience as Türkiye’s first and only airport operator licensed by the Ministry of National Education. It develops qualified human resources through high-quality training policies aligned with national and international standards.

The Academy supports the development of both its own personnel and industry stakeholders by delivering innovative, fast, and effective solutions in theoretical and practical training. Its aim is to establish an efficient, reliable, and leading training ecosystem through a culture of continuous learning.

In order to protect the health and safety of its employees while delivering its services in compliance with national and international occupational health and safety legislation and regulatory requirements, our Company:

  • Ensures that all activities are carried out in a safe and secure manner.
  • Adopts the creation of a healthy and safe working environment as an integral part of its working culture by taking proactive measures across all processes and activities, eliminating potential hazards, and continuously improving together with its employees within the framework of an Occupational Health and Safety Management System to prevent work accidents and/or occupational diseases.

  • Carries out activities to increase employees’ awareness and consciousness regarding occupational health and safety.
  • Ensures employee satisfaction by evaluating employees’ requests and suggestions as quickly as possible in a fair, impartial, and confidential manner, in accordance with laws, regulations, and company rules.
  • To take all necessary measures to protect the ecological balance and minimize negative impacts during the services we deliver, and to take environmental criteria into consideration when making investment decisions.
  • To carry out all necessary training, announcements, and awareness activities to ensure that environmental awareness is embraced by all our employees as well as by all suppliers providing goods and services, and becomes a way of life.
  • To contribute to the widespread adoption of environmental awareness by setting an example for competitors, stakeholders, society, and other organizations through our practices, and by sharing our knowledge and experience.
  • To ensure the reduction of natural resource consumption and waste generation during our activities; to prevent pollution by carrying out necessary efforts for the continuous monitoring and protection of air, soil, and water; and to identify environmental aspects by determining the types and impacts of environmental effects.
  • To comply with all environmental laws and regulations while carrying out our activities, to act towards the continuous improvement of our environmental performance, and to determine, review, and disclose objectives and targets in this direction.
